June 2021 Heatwave Contest!

Predict the low/highs for Vancouver (YVR), Abbotsford (YXX), Victoria (YYJ) and Kamloops (YKA) for Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Predictions due 11:59pm Friday. Tiebreaker will be to predict the hottest place and temperature in the province.

Is that okay? Should we add more locations or include Friday? I don't know.

Sounds good as is... this reminds me, I was keeping track of EC forecasts for a month in the winter to see how they compare to reality, but my phone died halfway through, so I can't retrieve my info. I guess I should get a battery and get in the data off the phone.

P.S. how about add YKA (Kamloops) to the list. Yes, I know you guys don't give a rat's azz about anything beyond Hope, but maybe you do. haha.

Probably format our picks as morning low first and then aft high. Ex: 18c/57c

Sounds good, though maybe just low of the day first and then high of the day, with day being from midnight to midnight? I know it's been discuss in the past when the low is in the evening or the high is in the morning.

Same deal as the cold snap contests.... morning low first then high (ex. 18c/35c). If the daily min temp isn't hit till 10pm then we go with that as the low.
