Maybe it does now; I will have to take another look at it. I know that in January 2020 it did not. The radar data it showed for over Whatcom County was obviously from the Camano Island radar, which gets badly shaded by the Chuckanut Mountains.Sardisbcwx wrote: ↑Tue Mar 30, 2021 1:32 am l thought the UW radar incorporated our radar up here in Aldergrove?

Re: March 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
It has been a bit chilly. But certainly not a wet spring on the south coast. Just skimming through precip data and it looks like 25-50% of normal for March.

Re: March 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
Not a wet spring so far and unless it really ramps up in May and June the wet spring forecast might be a bust. Looking at the last few runs of the GFS it's going to be much drier than normal up until at least mid-April. When we do get a system it's very weak and the rain misses us. It's been the trend. YVR had 33mm for the month of March. 2nd driest month since last April and those are similar precip numbers as one would expect in July. I bet the showery weather does return just in time for the May long weekend and "Juneuary".
