Monday looks quite troffy again, with lots of instability. Maybe wake up to a wet snow shower in the hills? Or T-storms in the pm?

Been a pleasant month for March really. But pretty chilly especially on the lows. I think I’ve had something like 15 freezes.

Both ECMWF and GFS still say flakes for many in the lowlands from the current system. At this point I’m expecting it to happen. I’m also expecting little to no accumulations for most. Pornoman may get lucky and see 5–10 cm.

Last October I had a night where it never quieted down, wind all night, and it still froze. If it can happen that early in the season, I’d say it can happen this late in the season.

I’d bet the October freeze was with offshore flow. Not onshore. Either way it won’t take much to freeze if the winds die for an hour or 2 before sunrise

Yes, if it’s onshore winds that are being forecast, I would not expect a freeze. I just assumed offshore because a freeze was being forecast.
