Or go to Panama and drop some snow in Cuba leading to Hound taking a pick axe and dynamite into the canyon to try and destroy the anus.

Sorry don't get all the whining about our climate. It is what it is, lived here my whole life and most snow events are marginal. Has it got worse, probably when you are always on the edge of snow/rain a slight difference in temp could push snow to rain. It would help if we could get the past weeks conditions in Dec instead of mid Feb but this seems to be the new norm. Yes our friend wetcoast likes to take his jabs but most of the time he is stating facts and betting on the favourite, climo. Looking forward to all the angry rants at the end of the month when historic models bust.

Official low of -10.6c in Houston this morning. YVR hasn't been that cold since December 2008 despite averaging 1.6 days per year with a temp below -10c.

Front door deliver cold air. Backdoor delivers dry flatulence...

Beautiful day here today. It has been warm sun with blue sky, but now the clouds are moving in on a slight breeze. +6.2 funny how warm that is after a few days of negative temps.

Feels like spring despite the few white spots of snow. Time to plant!  That should bring on more winter weather. :cheerlead: :cheerlead:

Doubtful... lack of moisture is lack of moisture. We may have seen slightly colder daytime highs, but otherwise the same pattern would deliver the same result in December.

It is pretty historic event down there but I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often due to the open access of cold air in the Plains. In hindsight, BC really missed out on a top tier blast...One wonders had that PV actually locked into Eastern BC and Washington State....-25C in Abbotsford?

I'm not sure if -25C is possible here, considering our all-time low is -21C. Just getting close to -20C would seem epic, though.
