Visibility has dropped and the intensity just increased in the last 10 minutes. Biggest flakes of the day and now sticking on the road.

Snowing hard, with the biggest flakes of the event so far and starting to stick again. Pity it’s just a shower and the fun will be over soon.

It’s been snowing all day here but it’s not sticking in Langley or Surrey. Beautiful to look at though!

Same here. Struggling to stick, but not much success so far.

Re: February 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
The snow has become much heavier here over the last half an hour and is starting to stick to pavement again. Huge flakes and temperature dropping slightly, down to 0.6 now.

If this keeps up once we lose solar, I can see there being decent accumulations.

Two more hours and the sun will be low enough that there will be a really noticeable difference… assuming it is still snowing.

Re: February 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
Amazing it have been snowing since 7am. Yeah the flakes are fluffy and large, not sticking though. I have a feeling that it is getting to the end of the road pretty soon. Hope the temperature drops below freezing again this evening to get ready for tomorrow.

Re: February 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
I think overnight is the period to watch...heavy precip is supposed to switch some of us back to snow. Not at sea level though, probably.Pumpkin Seed wrote: ↑Sun Feb 14, 2021 2:24 pm Amazing it have been snowing since 7am. Yeah the flakes are fluffy and large, not sticking though. Re: February 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
Big flakes in Richmond but definitely a little wet now. Back in Ladner and the flakes are a bit smaller but still comin down pretty good. It’s 0.3c so hopefully this steady precip sticks around til we lose solar later.
Edit: the flakes are huuuge now but still not sticking
