It's on Camano Island, not Whidbey, but yes, its coverage leaves much to be desired for this area. Bellingham is basically shaded from it by the Chuckanut Mountains. I use the Aldergrove radar for the most part myself. Unfortunately, the antenna for that one has some dead zones.

Need moderate to heavy snow if we're to see accumulations on the pavement during the day at this time of year.

It has been snowing since before 6 here in Nanaimo. Hammering down the past hour. Added at least another 10cm so far this morning. Just a touch under 30cm now.
