Never managed to get any radar returns over my house this entire event and yet I have a decent amount.Rubus_Leucodermis wrote: ↑Sun Feb 14, 2021 9:30 am Odd… Snow seems to be picking up even though echoes over me are still only faint and tattered.

Streets iced up quickly overnight but the sunlight seeping through the overcast is already strong enough to start the melting again.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Snow seems to be picking up here too. Slightly larger flakes. The sun was doing Nito's work for a bit but this might change that.

I'm on #teamsnow if this keeps up. Flurries are nice to look at when it doesn't wreak havoc. Plus I don't have to do any shoveling since the sun keeps my path and driveway clean of snow.VanCitySouth wrote: ↑Sun Feb 14, 2021 9:42 am Snow seems to be picking up here too. Clouds have thickened, filtered sun has disappeared, flakes larger and denser. Seeing accumulation.

Totally agreed. I didn’t follow you guys or expect anything last night so it is certainly a surprise this morning. Snow is still coming down nicely but the temperature went up a bit to 1c now. I believe it won’t last long though.

Yup!
I'm done with them for now. I'll just look outside for the next few days and see what happens.

Follow the models until the event starts and then just kind of roll with it. That’s what I do.

Or, maybe Wednesday. It’s coming. Around these parts, Team Rain always wins in the end.
