This sounds reasonable. The flow does turn strong southerly aloft but it’s still a cool airmass. Surface is cool especially where the flow remains offshore.

Hrdps looks good for a heavier hit of snow overnight for the LM
North end of Shawnigan Lake. Southern Vancouver island. 500ft

Nan has Heavy snow tomorrow morning this time.

Just woke up and found it is snowing, 0.5c, started accumulating on the driveway already. Beautiful!

Light snow. Little or no accumulation overnight, so I think it just started up again. Temp -2ËšC, DP -4ËšC.

I am afraid the temperature is a bit too warm here in Richmond and it will turn to mix or rain later this morning. Hope we can hold it around freezing point through the whole day and then wait for the big one coming tomorrow.

Outflow never picked up. Leads to onset of precip sooner but transition may happen sooner near the water.
