Victoria also had bigger snowstorms than the LM during Feb 2019 and Jan 2020 too.

I did not see any reports out of Langley city or Aldergrove. Did they get snow? I know they got 'some'.

Victoria does do surprisingly well considering it's elevation and location. They just seem to be in the right spot where moisture and outflow meets. Similar to The Hood Canal region in Washington state that often gets snow when all other areas including the southern island and Lower Mainland are getting rain :bs:

I'm in Willoughby Langley on the hill and got about 6cms. I was away for part of the day so not sure if that's accurate or not maybe someone else can verify. Willoughby man?

Typerman strikes again! You'll have to excuse him WeatherPro, he didn't get enough flakes in his cereal bowl today. :-P

Who knows. The lots I clear are locked for the Stat holiday until Tuesday. Could be a sloppy mess for them. Not my problem though if they don't want to open the gate or pay to have it cleared before they open.

Weather is about balance. I think I have still got more snow this winter than Surrey. If it the air is incoming from the Southwest, I don't think Abby will do well. If it comes in from the West or North thereof, Abby will do well. I haven't followed the maps to review the pressure battle, but given the weak outflow performance today, I would think as long as the incoming system isn't powerful enough to push things out, we may do ok. Knowing that, the maps more often than not, overdo precipitation amounts. I would say 6-12cm maybe based on the limited look into things I have seen on here, whichever way, it should do better than the Western LM.
