Think that's about it for the next few hours if not all for today. HRRR shows another band moving through between 5-7pm so we'll see.

Yes...imo our score time is about a ~6 to 7 week window ~Dec 10-Jan30..otherwise expect MELTINGGGGGGGGG, especially into Feb. I mean that even happens in the Similkameeeeeens around this time of year.

Nito should be pretty happy with this event, especially now. Its snowed all day and now melting on hard surfaces. Its nice to look at, just no more accumulations anymore
Even have the sun poking out?
We all win today Nito?

I used to go to a cabin up in the Pemberton area I can't remember the name of the lake
Only way in to get there in the winter was snowmobiling because the road was just an FSR and not serviced
It’s levette lake just north of Squamish!

Poco is sometimes as bad as Pitt Meadows..and Abby..the worst areas for snow other than the coast.
There's a banana belt extending from lower Coquitlam (Braid Station area) to POCO and east to Pitt Meadows. I used to live near the Ikea and it was terrible for snow. Another bad area is Langley City. IMO, all of those areas are actually worse than Abby.

I haven't measured in a few hours, but it looks like 2-3 cm. Flakes are getting larger, but fewer of them. Temperature is up to -1.2C.

Yep, had about a cm of snow yesterday morning. As soon as the sun came out in the afternoon it was gone pretty quick in any exposed areas. Not even melting, just straight sublimation, all the rooftops were steaming despite being -10 outside  Mid-February sun is not to be reckoned with.

Still cold up here today, -7 with very light flurries, no accumulations.

Glad to see some people scoring on the coast!

Perfect timing for that band. Should lose enough solar by then to aid accumulation.
