I hope you got a bit of snow out your way!Leighbugs wrote: ↑Sat Feb 13, 2021 9:53 am You hit the jackpot! Making a snow forecast against all odds that makes you look like a weather God is the ULTIMATE. I am apparently NOT a weather God because sadly, this scenario has always resulted in me looking like a moron when, not only does it not snow, it ends up we receive snow of the liquid variety.
You made a risky move and won, my friend. You are now elevated to a legendary status among your peers. We all aspire to be you, yet few of us achieve what you have achieved.

Yes we did and still coming down. I don't look anything like those Pitt Meadows cams. I wouldn't say we scored or anything but everything is at least all white so I'm not sad. Looks like about 2cm or so.

About 13 cm, as measured in deciduous woods (wind-sheltered, and the snow is not being intercepted by deciduous trees). Still snowing, hard at times.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Some sliding snow in Whistler, right down to the rock.

Once again, Chilliwack is getting ripped off. Tiny flakes off and on since about 6am, but not even a hint of white on the ground. -2 with dp of -6. Still seeing wind gusts of up to 35km/hr. Think we're too far East for this one, but hoping we still get enough to play in.

Also known as Sh it Meadows. Just as bad as Abbotsford for getting snow maybe even worse. There is three Tim Hortons all in one small area so I would suggest that there's too many donuts in the area

Technical question: is this the deformation zone that was being talked about by some of you/on Twitter yesterday?

Another question...why are there now 7 lows on the NAM? How/why does that even happen?

Re: February 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
Yup , snow intensity has increased and snowflakes have doubled in size , me like.
Some intermittent mild outflow winds, if the winds kicked up a few notches then I'd be maybe be approaching blizzard conditions, probably won't happen.
