Yup seems to finally be picking up in intensity a bit. Flakes still smallish but are growing just like pornoman likes.
Burnaby Mountain @ 365 m..

Stats? Fresh out of those. But I win anyway. I got all the inches.

Yup... when the warnings come out this late that is usually a good sign.

This is some funny looking snow. You can sweep it...I suspect this is dust.

I usually kind of step back from the models once the snow actually starts and just enjoy it. I will probably re focus latter today but tomorrow looks interesting but much more borderline for lower elevations and the island

Monty wrote: Sat Feb 13, 2021 7:28 am That’s it. Really I expected more down there. Looks like it’s gonna snow for awhile longer.

Seemed like even the island was fighting dry air with the strong outflow. It’s snowing steady but when we get our big snows it’ll often be 3-5cm/hr rates.
Haven’t got an official measurement yet but appears to be about 15-20 cm in cook street village.

Let's think positive and shoot for 3 consecutive days of continuous snow. That will totally freak out Nito.

Well it’s not a blizzard but it certainly is a region wide snowfall. Sigh, the Canucks are cursed.

Woke up to a good 3cm on exposed surfaces, more than I was expecting out of this round. Score!
