Any idea when the snow will start falling, this evening or tomorrow morning? Around what time?

Now for the Euro and the GFS to start forecasting that.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Overnight, moving in from the south. Based on the HRRR map Catnip posted, many areas north of the 49th might not see flakes fall until after daybreak.

That's what I was thinking , might finally get that 3-4 day run of periods of snow that I've been hoping for this winter. When's the last time we had that? 2008?

low of -6° dp -19
Winds have slowed down from what I can see compared to last night.

Wowzers. SW Washington is going to get buried. For them this is equivalent to 1996 in terms of epic snowfalls. I'm glad we are not going to see those kinds of snowfall totals. Especially when it all turns to rain next week. What a mess. A little light snow works for me.

..nice area u live in
It’ll probably come down to the exact track of the low and if we see any type of deformation band set up north of the track. There is a chance Victoria out snows places further north with this one. 30-40cm for someone on the South Island is a good bet though.
North end of Shawnigan Lake. Southern Vancouver island. 500ft

Yeah I'm going for a fairly widespread 20-30 cm in Victoria with higher amounts in langford/malahat/shawnigan.
