-8.8C here this morning. Was hoping for at least -10C out of this event, but that isn't going to happen now.

Mark Madryga on Global made it sound pretty bleak for the Mainland in the snow department.

This thing is definitely tapping into some tropical moisture. I think it over performs. :shock:

A far cry from what some of the models were spitting out earlier in the week but still decent I suppose.

Nito..what's the latest beside 1 to 2 feet of tumbleweeds from Abby east mixed with 5 to 10mm of dust..

12z RGEM also buries the Island.

Looks ok for Western areas of Metro as well.

Yes, definitely underwhelming. I wasn’t expecting the epic cold the Goofus was showing but was still expecting temps around -10˚C.
