Looks like it underdid the totals here. I think it's doing the same thing this time (currently only showing 2 inches for vancouver, 8 inches for Victoria).
Is it still snowing in esq? It's finally sticking here in langford.

Don't we want the low to hang back and pump precipitation into the island and mainlan?
Seems like it does more than on prior gfs runs early today. End result is highest projected snow amounts across the south coast since the 12z yesterday thru Saturday PM.

Near perfect track of for the Sunday and Monday low on the 18z GFS if you want lots of snow. Any shift north = +7C rain though.
and if it stalls in the right spot, we get 40-60cms of snow as well.
January 2025 incoming..looks like more Pineapples..Happy New Year!

Hawk, relax on the stalling. There is nothing in the models that indicates stalling lows. THINK PROGRESSION.

Haven’t even seen a flake in Tsawwassen. Juuuuuust missing out from the looks of this.
Welcome Brentzky! Just think snow! Hopefully it wanders your way soon.
Snow has dwindled here, just the occasional white speck falling now but he ground is white, just barely. Maybe 0.5 cm fell and it was cold enough I could sweep it off the deck and stairs.
