Hmm. My place isn't terribly close to Trout Lake but maybe I'll pick up my first accumulating snowfall of the season. Can't check though, work now.

12Z ECMWF finally caves. Further south with storm track Thurs-Sat. Precip shield extends north but lighter amounta. Showing 5-10cm but I see stronger pressure gradients indicating stronger outflow. Realistically 2-5cm?
2011 situation averted.

I've noticed that the Weathermodels site often does this, whereas the Weatherbell site shows snow.Esquimalt39 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 10, 2021 10:16 am Thanks. Why is it showing rain over my house in every frame lol?
They really need to work on their programming.

Latest ECMWF comes in south (bah) Saturday’s system but does seem to work its way northwards… eventually.

You would think that this would be an awesome track for drawing in cold air.
Why not try cycling to work, grocery store, anywhere!

Snow is really coming down now.
It appears that the western sections of Metro will start seeing some heavier cells soon.

Don't believe the propaganda. Several more runs to go. 2-5 cm?

Re: February 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
That Low west of N/Central Van isle is doing its work. The clouds have not been pushed out to the coast by the weak arctic push. Instead clouds are staying stationary, as the Low pumps up the moisture. If anything, the clouds are building up dropping some heavy flurries. Why is this happening Nito? I thought it was bone dry front coming at us?
January 2025 incoming..looks like more Pineapples..Happy New Year!
