A little snow overnight, enough to make things white and the winds are picking up a bit now! Arctic outflow warning posted

I’m still hoping to see a flurry or two pop up today but the models haven’t been showing much of anything.

That would be huge. I expect ratios would be at least 10:1.

Nam now has Saturdays storm mostly south of Seattle

Bone dry here. Arctic Outflow now extended right to Vancouver. Temps warmed up overnight. Felt excited last night. Today not as much. Early next weekend looks kinda mildish according to EC/TWN/phone app. Do the models you guys look at support 5 degree highs come Monday??
Burnaby Mountain @ 365 m..

Stats? Fresh out of those. But I win anyway. I got all the inches.

It’s the most common of lowland snow scenarios: cold and dry, then an overrunning snow-to-rain slushfest.

That’s what made January of last year such a treat. Even got the coveted snow as the arctic front sweeps in.
It's called clown range for a reason.

06z GFS also had it going due south. Trace to 2cm in the LM.

Considering what we seen with the first system trending well south...There's a good chance this weekend system goes south!

Sun breaks with onshore flow in mid February. Yea 5C by Monday or Tuesday could be conceivable.
