Those are both high terrain areas. I remember at least 40 cm on the ground though at my place (I was only 7 then)
Found a couple other snowfall reports.
"Saanichton Mt Newton" with 43cm on the 21/22nd. Elevation looks to be near sea level but I'd assume its away from the water.
"Spoke Lake North" also recorded about 40cm on the 21/22nd and the Metchosin station got 34cm in the same timeframe.
Lowest total I can see was "William Head" with 24cm.
Clouds have broken up here in Ladner and the temp has gone above freezing to 1.7c/-4 dp with a light East wind. Gotta love these cool and sunny winter days!...all we’re missing now is some snowcover
Currently located in Tsawwassen, beside Tsawwassen Mills

My mind went there as well. 40cm of snow in these parts, YYJ included. With blizzard warnings on parts of Vancouver Island that night.
We can dream. That system pretty much had a perfect track. 28cm storm total at YVR, including a one day total of 22cm. Picked up about 30-35cm of snow here in Coquitlam.

EC already has snow with “windy†on Friday night so a blizzard warning does sound too far fetched especially with a low in the 990s as modelled

If I recall it was a winter storm warning for Victoria and blizzard warning for the east island.
North end of Shawnigan Lake. Southern Vancouver island. 500ft

The lax way EC issues wind warnings for any half potent lows I'm pretty sure this would qualify for a blizzard warning (looking at the models 70+ gusts aren't out of the question imo).

That NAM is juicy. Two more notches north please? Lol
It's going south. You guys on the south island might get clipped and see a couple cm though. Otherwise Thursday and Friday look windy and dry north of Everett.
Saturday thru Monday will be the time to watch for the south coast...
