Re: March 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Thanks for sharing. Another thing (I don't know if the blog mentions it, but Abbotsford used to average a whole degree colder than Vancouver in January, but now they only average 0.5C colder. Shallower arctic air masses = weaker outflow and more down-sloping warmth, meaning less difference between coastal and inland temperatures.Typeing3 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 15, 2019 4:55 pm From the blog post - Graph showing average temps at both Abbotsford and Vancouver during Jan and Feb.
Light blue represents average Vancouver temps during Jan, while dark blue is Feb. Light grey represents average Abbotsford temps during Jan, while dark gray is for Feb.
As you can see, January has warmed quite significantly over the past 60 years, while Feb has only warmed modestly.

That is quite the read , he says he has taught at SFU and UBC, seems like he's got expertise in many areas and has several things on the go . He's probably way too busy for this site.

golf and tennis, I thought retiring meant doing Johnny things which is nodding off watching the parliament channel and watching the Knucks in the evening loose to the worst team in the NHL.Forrest Gump wrote: ↑Fri Mar 15, 2019 6:08 pm Don't worry my little finned friend , I wouldn't leave you high and dry , the show must go on...in between my golf, tennis and fishing trips , especially now that Hawk has released the name of his secret lake

Why is the Pitt Meadows and Wrinkle Rock stations over exposed just location wise? Vancouver (where is this station?) might be Coal harbour downtownCanada Goose wrote: ↑Fri Mar 15, 2019 8:39 pm Max today:

Fortunately it doesn't happen very often , I don't have any wild slices. Try to keep it straight by not trying to kill the ballSardisbcwx wrote: ↑Fri Mar 15, 2019 10:38 pm So when you golf Gumps do you yell Fore! or Oooopppssss...

Yeah that's good I see some people lean into way more then necessary, I don't know what there trying to prove I don't play the courses I enjoy a few buckets of balls at the driving range.Forrest Gump wrote: ↑Fri Mar 15, 2019 10:48 pm Fortunately it doesn't happen very often , I don't have any wild slices. Re: March 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Big courses only for me ,I usually shoot in the 90s , unless it's a difficult course then fooogetaboutit , I don't like the Falls in Chilliwack, greens very hard to read. Isn't it about time you graduated to a course?Sardisbcwx wrote: ↑Fri Mar 15, 2019 10:56 pm Yeah that's good I see some people lean into way more then necessary, I don't know what there trying to prove I don't play the courses I enjoy a few buckets of balls at the driving range.
