Hey Gumpers I thought you may have packed it in to and left with Antler man although I think that was just the booze talking. we have the summer comedy act to do although if the weathers nice may not sell many tickets. Then there's the popular beach thoughts but half the time I loose the thought I had. it should be a summer of fun and sun oh and I'm sure Johnny may pop in with a political comment or two. he may even chime in with hot! from time to time.

Odd having snow on the ground with temps this warm.
Ya, we still have a lot on the north facing sides of houses but today it's melting fast! Soon there will only be big dirty piles in parking lots. Leighbugs favourite type of snow!

Yeah more realistic of course in marginal set up's your still going to get a wide range just due to our varying terrain. I was thinking the east side of Vancouver. All in all I wish they would just give up using YVR and use a city reading it's fine for pilots but not general public.

He's located between me and Catnip going up the hill. Riverview Heights is located halfway up the hill towards Mundy Park.

Some key excerpts from the Feb 2019 recap post:
This emphasizes that the record [cold February] was established more through long-term persistence of cold–but not deeply frigid–air, making the month somewhat unique from a climatological standpoint.
February 2019 continues a trend that appears to have begun in the mid 1980s where Februaries are more frequently colder than Januaries than what used to occur. February used to be about 2ºC (3.6ºF) warmer than January on average and this has now shifted to about 0.7ºC (1.3ºF) warmer.

From the blog post - Graph showing average temps at both Abbotsford and Vancouver during Jan and Feb.

Light blue represents average Vancouver temps during Jan, while dark blue is Feb. Light grey represents average Abbotsford temps during Jan, while dark gray is for Feb.

As you can see, January has warmed quite significantly over the past 60 years, while Feb has only warmed modestly.
