Use to live couple blocks from there back in 1971. Remember that well that was also the great snowy Dec-Jan of 71.

Don't really hold out much hope for this season. Pretty much a write-off. I'll be gunning for the Canadiens in the playoffs in the likely event we don't make it.

70-71 and 71-72 were both great winters. Hard to think of a better combo back to back ever since.Sardisbcwx wrote: ↑Mon Feb 08, 2021 11:53 pm Use to live couple blocks from there back in 1971. Remember that well that was also the great snowy Dec-Jan of 71.

Suppressed. No snow north of about Eugene. Don’t even think Portland gets a flake.

I know there's one near main and 51st now. I don't think there's any on Fraser though? At least not on the stretch between 41st and 49th.

Re: February 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
Yes l meant Dec/70 - Jan/71, l think that was the first winter l listened to John Paschold with his weather segments on the old CJOR 600. He would come on after the newscasts. And the thing l'll always remember my Grandma knew l had an interest in weather so did she and one of my Uncles as well. Anyways she got me started listening to John Paschold. So if they said weather interest runs in the family l believe it apparently my Mom's father was a weather fanatic as well.

Looks like it may be clearing from the west. High clouds seem to be pushing east into the valley.
