Gas Prices

Post by SouthSardiswx »

Continuing our thread on gas prices I'm up to 133.9c here in Chilliwack I've seen it as low as 117.9c and as high as 145.9c last Summer since we moved out here last March that just continues to be insane, I just fill up in Abby before or after work as it seems to be the cheapest alternative for me, the one thing I miss about Mission is the prices were always the lowest it seemed.

127.9 in most of Abby; 124.9 at Costco. Price are supposed to be coming down, so we'll see.

My last 7 fill-ups at Costco have ranged from 108.9 to 120.9.

Really? I heard the opposite, calling for $1.50+ after April 1 (more carbon tax  ) and as high as $1.65 :crygreen:

my car, despite being a Toyota, is supposed to take the Premium stuff. Fortunately Point Bob is close, filled up there on Tuesday and Premium was US$1.08/litre so even with the exchange I saved about $0.25/litre

Prices are falling according to Gas Buddy. Looks like they're down about a cent from yesterday.

But we all know how quickly prices can reverse course, so $1.50 in Vancouver by April certainly wouldn't surprise me.

Absolutely sick gas prices currently I filled up today in Chilliwack @ 144.9c  when did we have that 117.9c price not that long ago. I don't know whether to gas up in Abby on the way to work anymore or just swallow hard and gas up out here, the problem with gassing up at Costco is I can't wait in those long lines while I'm on my way to work is the problem. I was told the usually low Mission gas prices are just as high as Chilliwack now for some reason.

I have a little Scion sports car which is for all intents a Toyota, darn vehicle demands the good stuff  so I'm stuck with high prices no matter what I do so I'd be in that line for sure

There's this lone Esso or Chevron in Tilbury on River Road that was showing $1.78  on Thursday afternoon.
Not sure how he's getting any business when a 10 minute drive east or west gets you gas that is $0.10 cheaper
