I have to disagree; I would personally enjoy experiencing some extreme cold for our climate. We have to keep in mind that everything is relative to the climo for our area, including snowfall. We don't compare our snowfall to Whistler's, so we shouldn't compare our "extreme" cold to the Cariboo or other places that get colder. You might as well compare us to Nunavut.PortKells wrote: ↑Mon Feb 08, 2021 11:56 am Oh I'm just talking about snow potential. I'm not particularly concerned with extreme cold. I've lived in the caribou and okanagan and felt temperatures there that the LM has no chance of achieving.
A 2019 scenario again would suck. Cold and dry is useless to me outside of skating on our pond.
The entire point of this hobby, at least in my opinion, is to be interested in anomalous weather... cold, snowfall, wind, rain, heat. It's all relative to our local climo.
