Yes I agree but you can't really blame him can you? His forecast changes as often as a new model run comes out LOLOL. He's just interpreting what the models are showing....which is all over the place

Fwiw, the 12z nam is a bit colder on Weds late am vs the 6z.

-3.2C this morning. The frost looks like a trace of snow
North end of Shawnigan Lake. Southern Vancouver island. 500ft

A bit white up at SFU too. Hopefully the first of many surprises this week.

Edit: GOOD surprises. Not poisonous pineapple ones.

I guess this time around it looks like Hope will be the score zone. They already have about a foot of snow on the ground going into a cold spell plus whatever else accumulates on top of that and they are well sheltered from the warm nose if we have a slight warm up

No matter what the models say this morning I think we will see significant cold snap this week with lots of low level cold air getting sucked out of the interior. It’s not all about 850 temps.
