Found the wind speeds not that accurate on lacrosse ones. My wind speed died first, then water. Lasted about 3 yrs.

Awesome can't wait to hear how the shield holds up for temperature is. I think Abby Sr. Is skeptical it might read too high. Just in time for the Arctic fart.

Agree l had a La Crosse unit wind speed is terrible.

Reading about them online, they don’t measure rain well and the products battery dies here because there isn’t enough solar energy to charge it with all the clouds.

I paid just over $300.00 for mine, all seperate units which is the best way to go. Unit HP3501

I’m looking at the hp2553. I want to have separate wind and temp as locations need to be different. Locations exposed to wind seem to always get too much reflective radiation from the sun leading to higher values than accurate. Hope they could go on sale though.

Yah, what gives link to your station, reviews pros and cons. Radiation shield does it work good for temp. Bonorman has disappeared for the season.
