Block gets undercut before most of that arctic air pushes too far south but definitely a step in the right direction. Ensembles will be interesting

Yeah, I'd be happy with that too because we really do need a long dry spell. But something like that is far from a "legit" arctic outbreak like some have been hyping today.

To be fair, the EPS looks pretty epic so I think thats where a lot of the hype is coming from today. Whether it verifies or not is the question.

The last few Februaries have definitely slowed the decline in snowfall during the month.
It's the only winter month where average snowfall didn't continue decreasing on the new climate normals.
