Re: January 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
Light flurries just stopped. We're back to blowing dust here.
Friend who lives at around 250m on Westwood plateau said they've been getting light snow for the past hour and it's just beginning to stick slightly. Too bad it looks like the precip is shutting off now.

It is currently taking a run at rooftops, cars, and grassy surfaces. Maybe I'll get a film of slush before it shuts off!

Re: January 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
Model trends look encouraging for this. ECMWF weeklies the other day showed a return to seasonal temperatures to drier conditions for Feb. Cold shifts to Northern Europe and Russia.stuffradio wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 6:39 am I'm almost ready to move on to Spring weather with this disaster of a winter so far.
Of course I am really worried abour March-May as we know a mild DJF period has historically been followed by a chilly spring. Hoping that's not the case.
