Nah. It will somehow be cold rain which finally turns to snow as the precip shuts off.

Isn't this the new Amazon Prime movie Greenland debuting on Feb 5th or something?

comet impact would certainly bring a return to winter to the area

AbbyJr wrote: Tue Jan 26, 2021 11:43 am Very possible but the good news is that we are still 2 weeks out. Still plenty of time for the models to shift colder for the PNW.

I should add that the GFS did not slowly trend towards a West Coast Ridge. The past two runs were actually a complete flip from the runs prior to that, which showed arctic air. Looks to me like a sudden collapse, not a slow trend.

I still think this will work out in our favour despite the sudden GFS collapse. But I may have to refine my forecast if trends keep going in this direction.

Think arctic air and snow C'MON!!! :chilly: :snowman:
Ahh, yes, the never ending art of refining.

Pretty much a non event for the Fraser Valley and E Metro Van due to the dry anal outflow. It is good news for Michael1, Michael2, Michael3, and Monty.

Don't fall for it man.

The only model I'm going to use for snowfall are my eyes... when I see it falling and accumulating.

As someone named Michael, this is annoyingly accurate.
