Re: January 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
I'm looking forward to some sloppy snow and then a rain/snow mix with minimal accumulations at lower elevations.

Hmmm....18z 12K NAM delays the system a bit and shows less sea level rain, and more snow for areas near the ocean (although less snow for most and still not much overall). Looks like flurries all day Sunday. I’ll take wet flurries over cold rain showers any day.

Loads the dice in favor of #surprises.
It's called clown range for a reason.

That's at 12km resolution.
We're well in range of the more accurate 3km resolution so I'd use that now.

Highest resolution WRF (1.33km) is out till 4am Monday now. Elevated snowfall totals mirror the terrain over metro vancouver.

Re: January 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
Looks decent for Metro Vancouver and the SE island.
It shows the valley, sunshine coast and E island pretty much missing out though which is surprising.
