Yeah, unfortunately NNW flow doesn't do well for Southern Vancouver Island. Still, that can change in a heartbeat.

Re: January 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
And now you guys see what I was talking about!
There was no reason to give up!
Remember I said a major snow event was coming? Now the models show it. Nice work!
Still a bit far out, but now it's within actual grasp. A couple events and a major event on the weekend and into next week, like I said before.
Actually, things have turned around a bit more for the better.
I could see some areas getting 30cm of snow for sure over the couple days the snow will fall.
Will it be a blizzard like scenario? If things improve even more over the next few days then YES. I can see blizzard like conditions coming out of Monday Tuesday. Then it relaods. Wow! Even I'm surprised!
Remember I said everyone was going to get snow. The last map shows just that!! Even parts of Vancouver Island.
This is heading into really excitment territory!!

Re: January 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
I actually haven't checked the models at all since Friday night. Coincidentally, they started to improve soon after so I don't want to jinx anything.
Just relying on you guys to post the updates for now.
