Pretty good place for the Euro to finish. Days 10+ would be interesting.

Far enough in the past that I can not remember what they were like.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Wait, are you trying to say that this is just a "warning shot"?
Sorry had to say it.

Re: January 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
I’m going to say this pattern locks in for a while but unless that ridge finds a way to establish itself in a better position then we’re not going arctic. The long range models have depicted a long period where the PNA meanders around the -2 mark which is what we’re now seeing. If anything the cold meanders back into Alaska and the Yukon. However with these secondary SSW events we could be in the dark completely.

Re: January 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
Those PNA maps are just an output of the 500mb pattern depicted on the models. They will change accordingly. However, yes, the trend has been to have the offshore block just a bit far west. Then again February seems to be our prime time month for winter these days. We’ll see.PortKells wrote: ↑Sun Jan 17, 2021 12:33 pm I’m going to say this pattern locks in for a while but unless that ridge finds a way to establish itself in a better position then we’re not going arctic.
