Pretty good place for the Euro to finish. Days 10+ would be interesting.

I’m going to say this pattern locks in for a while but unless that ridge finds a way to establish itself in a better position then we’re not going arctic. The long range models have depicted a long period where the PNA meanders around the -2 mark which is what we’re now seeing. If anything the cold meanders back into Alaska and the Yukon. However with these secondary SSW events we could be in the dark completely.

Those PNA maps are just an output of the 500mb pattern depicted on the models. They will change accordingly. However, yes, the trend has been to have the offshore block just a bit far west. Then again February seems to be our prime time month for winter these days. We’ll see. :shock:

Lots of snow above 500ft. North Van did very well in Feb. Had some thundersnow.
