Hello guys. Some extremely boring weather coming up. I suggest stocking up on books and making a run to the BC Liqour store before the pattern changes. Tonight a weak system swings by bringing light rain to the area. We see a major transition next week as drier air infiltrates into region. A weak cut off low veers offshore bringing in a southerly push aloft and leading to a weak inversion by mid week. Cloudiness and heavy fog should give way to epic sunshine by next weekend. Temperatures look to be seasonal but we could see some epic frost at night. Stay tuned!

After several early season heavy snowfalls, even the Similkameen is paying the price this year. Since that 50-55cm dump, the snowpack has steadily decreased in the valleys. There is only about 25-30cms on the ground. It now looks dry for the next several days again. Snowpack in the mountains is likely very average now.

John: Smart for not jumping on board outside of 4-5 days. We have learned to avoid disappointment from many, many past model failures. :damn: :damn:

Nito and me were ridiculed for stating the truth but the truth always finds a way to the surface.
I wish I was wrong with my prediction
I felt it was my duty to say my opinion.

The ensembles still like the idea of NPAC blocking and a trough over the west. Where they end up will determine what's in store for us. It may work out, but it may not. That's the way it goes.

Yup i hear you buttee!
I never get excited about looking at the models 10-15 days out > I like to wait until the cold/snow event is 4-5 days out. Even then cold and especially snow around here is very difficult to predict. If model riders like to keep looking at long range..i have no problem with that btw.
