NFS has the ridge merging with the 4 corners ridge. Thermal trough next weekend brings +18C and sunshine.

Walked up to the 1900 foot (580 m) level of Stewart Mountain today. Not a patch of snow to be seen. Sure hope the torching ends soon.
It's called clown range for a reason.

To be honest, I wouldn't complain about that either. I've been missing being able to ride my electric bike.

But I'd rather have the cold and snow obviously. There will be lots of biking weather in the spring and summer. :D

Yes I was going to comment on that myself that even though the local mountains seem to have a decent amount of snow pack I think they should consider themselves to be very lucky because they are right on the verge of having no snow if they were just a few hundred feet lower in elevation. I'm surprised that they have the snowpack that they do because even at 3000 feet it's pretty sketchy around here
#patternshift mid Jan leads to :flakey: :flakey: #beginningofFeb...again.

At 600 m on Cypress nothing. At 650 m a tiny bit, at 750 m there is about 0.3 m, at 880 m there is 1.5 m.
Why not try cycling to work, grocery store, anywhere!

Back to 9+ days away. Did warn about a rug pull or transitionary cold wave in late Jan before the pattern turns favorable for cold in early Feb.

A bit early for celebratory high fives and parade route planning. No?
