Coldest frame of the 00z GFS is day 10.5...looks like temps around -7/-8c at YVR and -11/-12c at YXX. 850mb temps dip to around -13c.

My family lives up in Shuswap and they also said it's been almost snowless this year. Usually snow on the ground in November. Currently only a few cm on the ground in shady areas. Crazy.

The snowfall is on day 13. Just posted the totals for fun but it looks like the run drops similar amounts in Victoria at that time.

Just fyi, next run will show something completely different so don't take it as locked in already.

Our first snow chance comes toward the end of next week, a more believable range.

I would concentrate on that for now. The long range will differ with each run.

Just when you thought 2008 ran out of ammo, it reloaded several times to keep the battle going. Models can't pick that up this far out. Gotta rely on Catnip's surprise attacks.
