The GFS operational runs are useless right now. No run to run consistency whatsoever. Just random solutions. Best to go with Ensembles for now. :thumbup:

SE ridge needs more amplification though and the GOA ridge seems like it may disconnect from the high latitude block there.

Yeah, that was a possibility. Still holding on at hour 240, but the trend for the block to inch westward is a bit concerning.

However, at worst, this turns into a COLD onshore flow type pattern and I think most would be okay with that.

That's the same one I have. I find the personalized, local weather reporting it does is about equal to throwing darts at a board labeled with weather options, but it does get it right every now and then.
