Odds are we dry out. 20cm plus 14 straight cold days work for you all? Why must you always want meters of snow.
That would be nice. Local ponds and lakes could freeze over pretty good.
I'd like to see at least a couple lows below -10c at YVR though. Deal?

I would jump all over that like a mule. Our sledding hill and skating rink would both be prime time. 20 cm is nothing to laugh at around here, and having cold to lock it in would be just fabulous. But if we got say 40 cm and a couple days of cold I ain't complaining about that either.

I'm in the same boat Wintergirl, I just wait until someone says winter cancel, or this is happening. I love when someone actually explains what a map means and hoping everything being posted in the last two days, actually happens!!
I agree. If and when posting maps, please make a few notes of what you see. Clearly if you are posting maps you can at least understand them somewhat so if you guys could add just a few comments so the people who can't read maps will at least know what you see as well, and it will make it more enjoyable for them/everyone.

As you’d expect all the models will fall inline with the euro tonight in regards to any wind potential. Best bet for warning criteria will be Victoria. Should be a strong westerly surge tonight. I see EC has updated the warning to 90kmhr gusts.

Do you see string winds for the chilliwack area as a possibility?
