Ukmet has a deepening sub 988mb low crossing Vancouver Island tonight. Curious what the euro will show. Wind warnings coming?
North end of Shawnigan Lake. Southern Vancouver island. 500ft

Didn't that happen in Dec 2008 or something when we were only supposed to get snow for a few hours, but it just kept snowing and snowing?

Looks pretty dynamic north of that low for Campbell River and Sutton pass.

GEFS was a bit warmer than the 6Z. Similar to the 0Z.

Ya i've seen this story before..then it strengthens and ejects NE, slow moderation, bringing us milder temps and rains..blows the whole pattern up.
