Try not to get too caught up on the OP runs, as they are more vulnerable to run-run changes. Stick with the ensembles for the long range.

I think Jr wins this winter. Never gave up or bowed down to the cynicism that many including myself were feeling.

As for the models, these trends are unbelievable. Let's see if they waver at all because I'm not getting that sense right now.

Nice to see these long range ensembles focus the coldest anomalies directly south of the yukon/nwt into north/interior BC and western AB. Welcome change from showing backdoor events at a similar range as we've seen over the past decade.
