I’m not an expert on the MJO, but it is apparently emerging out of the tropics and that can help determine the strength and amplification of the NPAC block. The EPS handles the MJO the best from what I have read, so that will be the most important ensemble for us to follow. Again, I’m not very knowledgeable on this topic, so I could be wrong.

From what I know the GFS struggles badly with the tropics. So makes sense. EPS for the win

Looks like the GFS is going bigly cold in the long range. Strong Alaskan ridge
North end of Shawnigan Lake. Southern Vancouver island. 500ft

Thats glorious. The trend continues to improve. If it keeps going at this rate its going to be a Day After Tomorrow scenario in two weeks.
