I'll always take the ensembles over the Op at 7-10+ days.

I think it is a matter of expectations. I would be ecstatic with marginally cold and more snow. Others are more interested in the cold.

Absolutely, I understand what you are saying. I think the pattern depicted on the GEFS has that potential. Of course, it isn't a guarantee, but these have been the best runs of the season so far. I'll take that for now.
