Has anyone noticed the weather radar in the EC weather app is better than on their website? We should be able to find where the app pulls that map and info from. It must be on EC's servers. Then we would have a better radar to look at on the desktop.

Well I didn't know enough about modelling back then to follow them seriously, but from what I understand, 50-100cm of snow was modelled. Then 12 hours out the models collapsed and all we got was a brief overrunning event overnight that turned into mild rain the next day. Pretty hard to compare what's currently modelled to something that epic.

I do remember the snow event. But part of me is glad I didn't follow the models closely back then otherwise the disappointment would have been way worse.

Yup l remember the night clearly it was a Saturday night Jan. 8th, 2011 Jr. Knuckles were playing the Redwings at Rogers arena back when fans were allowed. The game was tied 1-1 after O.T. and as fate would have it the Knuckles lost in a shootout. And shortly after that word came the Euro had caved.

l dunno, if you study his grammar from when he use to post on the old forum back in early 09. You'd think he took grammar lessons completely new WP. it's a head scratcher for sure. I hope it is him though.

Was 12 years ago now mate. He may well have been in HS, then went on to graduate that, university, Masters, maybe Doctorate while becoming a met in that time.
