Around or bit more than half the GEFS members are on board.

Looks like things could get interesting starting around the 23rd/24th. Still 300+ hours out though.

Seeing some potential for a wind event Tuesday night. Some flip flopping in the models but a strong jet and models are trying to spin up some low pressure along the front.

Snow levels? Mr. Monty. :D
The 7th annual snowfall contest is canceled due to no snow this winter.

Or don't let the door kick you in the arse on the way out. Remember last year at this time the historic cold the models were showing then got watered down so disappointing, go big or go home l say. :D

Yep. Another time that got me was early February 2018 which was looking great and then slid east of the rockies as it came into view. Fortunately it got good for us a week or two after that so not a big deal. I don't recall there being this kind of consensus.

But that winter was quite similar to this one. Lots of false hope which ended up with persistent active and stormy patterns.

I don’t know. It got pretty cold last year. I’d take that in a heartbeat. In all honesty, I’m usually a snow guy, but it’s been so long since we had a legit cold airmass with clear skies. We’ve had some good snowfalls in recent years but I’d give up some snow for a clear night with -15C.
