2.0C here. Looks like the snow level is starting out around 300m on central van island. Should lower some with heavier precip later.

It's been fine since, just brought back memories of when the site disappeared before.stuffradio wrote: ↑Tue Dec 29, 2020 6:51 am I can't say anything happened yet, but this is using shared hosting, so perhaps the server was being hit hard at the time on other websites. Is anyone seeing slowdowns still? The great thing about shared hosting is if the server goes down then the host will probably notice and restart it.

If we see ridge build over the GOA/Aleutians at the same time... watch out. Potential for a long lasting cold spell.

Re: December 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
What do you think the odds are that happens? I think they are higher than normal given the SSW and -ENSO/+QBO state. Especially since the -NAO isn't forecast to go away anytime soon.

I have a Facebook page too for BCStorms, but it doesn't have the same community type feel. I only post some model things sometimes but you can send messages. Usually someone from the forum sends me a Twitter message if the site is down, which hasn't had to happen too many times yet thankfully.Roberts Creeker wrote: ↑Tue Dec 29, 2020 11:26 am It's been fine since, just brought back memories of when the site disappeared before.
