I did think January would get cold this winter and it appears it will take a little longer than I was hoping/thinking but I do think it will round into form at some point.
I expect things to show up soon in the long range!

Overnight low of -1°C here.

Just saw this gem recently get posted to the American forum:
Also day nine isn't in the clown range.
It's called clown range for a reason.

I tend to agree.

With the way things are evolving, I think we will see a #surprise or 2.

It looks tremendous for the Similkameen over the next several days. Prolly 6-12" of snows will fall here, maybe more if we get another lucky storm 8-)
Sadly, i will have to return to the wet, rainy, mild, damp, soggy and foggy, bommy coast at some point :bs: :bs:

Total accumulations pretty decent with that run. Hopefully more in future runs!

I stepped through the 24 hr snowfall maps and for what it’s worth most of the lowland snow action happens on the 10th.

Yep. Running a bit colder than forecasted. Higher elevations will definitely see wet snow.

I see temps dipping to +2 but it will be ice cold rain below 300m.
