Actually…wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 26, 2020 8:56 am Freezing levels dip to the surface, but no moisture. Most systems coming in bring a southerly wind ahead of it bringing mild air below 1000m with precip.
We are waiting till mid Jan at this point.

I'm close to jumping aboard #teamridge now. My ski season is likely over, don't care for this active and wet anymore. This mudhole I live in needs to dry up. We all know we're going to get some goodies just as spring is on the horizon. The SSW...we'll see.wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 26, 2020 9:08 am

LaNina they said..will be colder and snowier they said. Soon it will come they said, with carrots always only 10 days away!!
Past 5 days anything can happen. Case in point..that freak snow from a few days ago was nowhere to be seen past 5 or 6 days out and looked hopeless to even fall as snow.
LaNina is paying big dividends in the Similkaeem however, where is has def been way snowier than normal

That guy man. Someone said they were leaving the forum for non forum related reasons and he just threw all kinds of shade at him. Sometimes Americans are just more blunt i guess but this guy is too much.

Re: December 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
ECMWF trending with the GFS. Less splitty with a consolidated stormtrack further north. Persistent SW flow with non stop light rain and drizzle. Bad news for Cypress as it brings more rain up there than previous runs but the higher hills along with Whistler Blackcomb and Mount Washington look to get buried.

Dont worry. They'll still have lineups down to the lions gate Bridge at the first sign of slush.wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 26, 2020 10:42 am ECMWF trending with the GFS. You know, for a 2014/15 redux, this sure doesn't look right.

So disregard the flurries in the forecast for the valley next week?
The 7th annual snowfall contest is canceled due to no snow this winter.
