Kinda sucks.. -7 Lytton, -10 merrit , -13 Princeton.. cold air is close but I’m guessing warm upper levels win

It might be raining this morning but perhaps the best gift is that it’s a white Christmas, and it’s not often that we get to say that here on the west coast. Merry Christmas all!

Also on Seymour which is a tad higher than Cypress.
Whistler is having some nice snowfall this morning. Looks picture perfect.
It always snows in December in the Kootenays

Looks like some sort of block setting up. Needs to obviously be further east but we'll see where the trends go.

Merry Christmas everyone!
Hope your dog gets better fast, PortKells.
It's a White Christmas here with 10 cm still on the ground.

Re: December 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
Sorry got locked out for a bit...
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone! I hope you all got the gifts you were hoping for
Sorry to hear about the puppy Mr Kells..hopefully makes a speedy and full recovery.
Snow White Christmas in the Similkameen..wow this snowfall here was insane..depending where you measure, about 22" fell in 24 hours...im thinking once in a lifetime for this area. And this was high moisture snow, not like the usual larger snowfalls that are pure powder. This was a 0c to -1c snowfall...None of the locals here recall such a massive snowstorm.
I was already sledding...boondocking..YESSSSSS
Will try to send some pics later.
Have a great day, Covid style
