Sorry to hear. Hopefully she pulls through and has a full recovery.PortKells wrote: ↑Thu Dec 24, 2020 1:15 pm Just had to rush my dog to emergency. Hit by a car on 92nd ave. She was dazed and confused and in a lot of pain. Luckily no internal bleeding and lungs are ok, but the doctor is a little worried about her lack of movement. I absolutely cannot believe this is how this year is going to end.

Thanks guys. I'm a complete and total wreck. Trying to distract myself anyway possible. She's in for a long recovery if she makes it. The bill is going to be insane. I just don't know what to say about this year. Up until now we'd got through it relatively unscathed.

Re: December 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
Super sorry to hear that! I lost my dog last January to cancer, but in 2014 or so my dog was swiped on the side by a bear paw. I was walking on my farm and a mama bear and her 2 or 3 cubs were walking up the property. I saw the bears and my dog was loose. I didn't feel threatened at all, but I knew my dog would go after them if he saw them. Next thing I knew he turned around and saw them then without hesitating he dashed off towards the bears. The cubs ran up trees and the mama bear stood her ground and grazed his side. I think he bit into the bear. It was about $900 at the vet after cleaning up the wound. Some of his skin was sagging down the side of his body.PortKells wrote: ↑Thu Dec 24, 2020 1:15 pm Just had to rush my dog to emergency. Hit by a car on 92nd ave. Re: December 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
That's terrible, hope she makes it. Speaking of distractions it'll be nice when hockey is back in Jan, and maybe some epic snow events.PortKells wrote: ↑Thu Dec 24, 2020 1:22 pm Thanks guys. That would be amazing. I'm just hoping she can be healthy enough to run through it. She's such a snow dog its ridiculous.Forrest Gump wrote: ↑Thu Dec 24, 2020 1:47 pm That's terrible, hope she makes it. As for hockey, I'm not entirely optimistic for some reason. The league is sort of throwing it together. But it looks like they will try so that'll be good.

I hope she has a full quick recovery and the vet bill is manageable. What an awful way to end the year.PortKells wrote: ↑Thu Dec 24, 2020 1:59 pm That would be amazing. I'm just hoping she can be healthy enough to run through it. She's such a snow dog its ridiculous.
