May go for a small walk. Sounded like ice pellets for a while earlier so who knows.

The bad news is the streets are going to be awful tomorrow morning.

The webcam only became operational this afternoon - when I checked today at 12pm it was still offline, so no - wasn't able to confirm what was happening throughout the daylight hours.

I find it almost mind boggling there could have been such a huge temperature difference... Causing rain only 10kms southwest of the pass, especially seeing as it's nearly 1000ft higher in elevation.

Oddly enough, there was a discussion recently in the American forum on how Chilliwack tends to do significantly better than Abbotsford in the snow department, which is sort of surprising given the two cities are not that far from each other or at a significantly different elevation. The best theory was that it had something to do with the overall shape of the Fraser Valley.

Anyhow, Gumps is probably going to have quite the losing streak against Sardine in this contest.
