Concerned it's gonna be too far north. Not gonna lie these type of systems are the most stressful to track because such a small track change means huge differences.

Good luck Jr, I know how much you miss having those privileges
....getting snow would be a privilege, even just a few white flakes floating down.
No SWS for the Sunshine Coast, just rain forecast and a high of 4, with a low of 4 tonight.

Re: December 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
Doubtful this thing goes too far north at this point. Regardless surface temps are going be an issue for almost everybody near sea level. Victoria is basically surrounded by water so any sea breeze could keep things +1 to +2 with little accumulation. Heavy precip, light winds, or a north wind coming down off the highlands area is probably your keys to watch for.Esquimalt39 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 20, 2020 1:03 pm Concerned it's gonna be too far north. Yeah for sure. How similar is this set up to the December 2017 one? Is there more cold air to work with?Monty wrote: ↑Sun Dec 20, 2020 1:22 pm Doubtful this thing goes too far north at this point. Very similar. I think this is tracking a little more south. Which is a bit of a window of opportunity for Victoria lowland

Euro leading the way with track as we expect with this range, surface details are still unclear
